Blind Spot Detection Sensors

Blind Spot Detection (BSD) Sensors alert drivers to obstacles in their blind spots. This important part of the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) is located in the vehicle’s rear quarter area, typically just behind the bumper cover.

BSD Sensors can fail when salt spray enters the casing and corrodes the internal circuit board. Collisions, even minor ones from parallel parking, often cause damage as well.

NAPA® Echlin® BSD Sensors are direct-fit replacements to ensure proper fit and performance. Despite the plug-and-play design, some calibration may be needed. All NAPA® Echlin® BSD Sensors undergo extensive quality testing and product validation.
