Hot Restart Honda Hot Restart A faulty EFI relay may cause hard hot restarts on 1990-92 Honda Accord and 1988-91 Honda Civic models. Parking in the sun may also produce these symptoms. The EFI relay is located in the upper left side of the dash, where it's particularly hard to reach and even harder to test out. Symptoms may include "no fuel," "no spark," or both.
